What is a project?
A project can be defined as a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result. Projects are distinct from routine operations in that they have a defined beginning and end, specific objectives to be achieved, a defined scope of work, and allocated resources such as time, budget, and personnel.
Projects are typically managed using a systematic approach to ensure that they are completed efficiently and effectively, meeting stakeholder expectations and organizational goals. The PMO plays a central role in overseeing and supporting projects within an organization, providing governance, guidance, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
We provide comprehensive resources on the project management process, including tools, templates, and consulting to aid individuals in effectively managing projects.
